Our team has acted as lender’s counsel in financing from eight multilateral banks for the Upper Trishuli-1 Project, which included a credit insurance mechanism, a currency hedge for PPA payments, and extensive environmental and social performance standards. We also represented a consortium of Indian and Nepalese lenders in financing the Arun-III hydropower project, which remains the largest debt investment in Nepalese history. Additionally, we served as lender’s counsel in financing from the International Finance Corporation for small and medium sector lending.
