Legal Reforms

At Niti Partners and Associates, we are dedicated to empowering business growth through legal change by driving law reform efforts that meet the evolving needs of both businesses and society. In today’s competitive business landscape, outdated legal frameworks can stifle innovation, limit growth, and reduce competitiveness, making legal reform essential for encouraging investment, protecting rights, and promoting efficient governance. Our team specializes in legal drafting, research, and advisory services to create practical, forward-looking legislation aligned with national and international standards. We focus on simplifying regulatory processes and reducing complexity to enable businesses to seize opportunities in a globalized market. We provide strategic advice to local, provincial, and national governments, ensuring proposed reforms are constitutionally sound, aligned with existing laws, and responsive to business needs. Our expertise in drafting Acts, regulations, and guidelines emphasizes clarity, enforceability, and adaptability to foster long-term business success and economic stability. Additionally, we collaborate with industry chambers, youth organizations, and community groups to ensure that legal reforms address real-world concerns, promoting sustainable growth and innovation across sectors. Our commitment extends beyond business as we actively engage in welfare and law reform projects that benefit communities, including our involvement in the Project ‘Sikshya’ legal literacy project in Banepa, Panauti, and Dhulikhel, aimed at enhancing legal awareness in the Kavrepalanchowk district. We have also contributed to significant national initiatives, such as assisting Pokhara Lekhnath Municipality in drafting the Public-Private Partnership Act, supporting the Ministry of Industries with the Town Development Fund Act, aiding the Ministry of Finance with amendments to the Secured Transactions Act and Credit Reporting Act (the latter of which is now law), collaborating with the Central Bank of Nepal to review the Overseas Bond Issuance Directive, and assisting the Ministry of Industries in drafting the Model Bilateral Investment Treaty of Nepal, currently under review by the Ministry of Finance. At Niti Partners and Associates, we are committed to advancing law reform that not only strengthens businesses but also contributes to the well-being of society at large.
